Triumph 350cc Bikes India Launch Confirmed? Expected Price & Rivals

Triumph Motorcycles has hinted at the launch of a new 350cc engine in April 2026, a strategic move that could significantly reshape its India portfolio. The development comes at a time when motorcycles below 350cc attract 18% GST, while the brand’s existing 399cc models fall under the higher 40% tax bracket.

The upcoming 350cc engine is expected to power multiple models in Triumph’s lineup, potentially including revised versions of the Speed 400, Scrambler and Thruxton range. By downsizing the engine capacity, Triumph could make its motorcycles more competitively priced for the Indian mass market.

There are also strong expectations that Triumph may introduce a Bonneville 350, positioning it directly against established players in the segment. If launched, it would go head-to-head with popular 350cc motorcycles from brands like Royal Enfield and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.

With the 350cc segment dominating Indian motorcycle sales, this move could help Triumph expand beyond the premium niche and attract a wider audience. Enthusiasts have long been waiting for a more affordable Triumph offering, and April 2026 could mark a major turning point for the brand.

A key question remains: will Triumph discontinue its 399 cc lineup? That decision may depend on how the new 350cc range performs in terms of pricing and sales. For now, the shift appears to be aimed at capturing market share in a segment currently filled with strong sellers like the Hunter 350 and CB350.

If executed well, the introduction of a 350cc platform could be a win for consumers, offering more choices in a highly competitive space.
