Unlike Simple Energy’s more performance-focused One and Ultra scooters, the Wave gets a more conventional and practical design aimed at everyday family use. It features a long 920mm seat, a spacious floorboard and up to 70 litres of underseat storage, making practicality one of its key highlights.

Simple Wave Performance
The Simple Wave is powered by a motor producing up to 6.4kW, with the higher-capacity versions offering a claimed top speed of 90km/h. The 5kWh version can accelerate from 0-40km/h in 3.3 seconds, while the smaller S version takes around 4 seconds for the same sprint.
The scooter gets multiple riding modes, including Eco X, Eco, Ride and Sport on the higher-powered versions. The entry-level version gets a slightly lower top speed and a more limited set of riding modes.
